This policy explains what personal information The House of Seydamour collects, why it is collected and what happens to it. It applies to this website and to treatment and training records held at the clinic.

Who is responsible for your information
The House of Seydamour, 37 Cox Lane, Chessington, Surrey KT9 1SD, is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us on 07897 943164.
ICO registration number: TO CONFIRM. Any UK business processing health information is required to register with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
What we collect
- Contact details such as your name, telephone number, email address and postal address.
- Health information given during consultation, including your medical history, medications, allergies and previous treatments. This is special category data under UK GDPR and is treated accordingly.
- Treatment records including consent forms, what was administered, batch numbers, quantities and clinical notes.
- Photographs taken before and after treatment, where you have given separate written consent.
- Payment information handled by our payment provider. Card details are never stored by us.
- Website data such as pages visited and approximate location, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
Health information is processed for the purposes of medical treatment under Article 9(2)(h) of the UK GDPR, and because you have given explicit consent. Contact details are processed to manage your appointments, which is necessary to perform our contract with you.
Photographs for marketing are processed only on the basis of your specific written consent, which is separate from your treatment consent. You can refuse marketing use and still have the treatment. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for a minimum of eight years after your last treatment, in line with UK guidance on medical records. Records for anyone treated under the age of eighteen are kept until their twenty fifth birthday. Marketing consents and contact details are removed on request.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. Information is shared only with our booking system provider, our payment provider, our insurer or a prescriber where a treatment requires one, and with medical professionals if you need onward care.
If a complication arises, relevant clinical information may be shared with your GP or with emergency services. This is in your interest and does not require your consent at that moment.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information, though clinical records must be retained for the periods above.
- Withdraw consent for photography or marketing at any time.
- Object to processing, or ask us to restrict it.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.

Booking system and third parties
Appointments are managed through Timely, which holds your contact details and appointment history on our behalf under its own privacy terms. Course purchases are handled through this website and our payment provider.
